Many European Heritage associations have chapters and lodges around the US and even around the world. Joining a national organization typically means you get to network and attend meet-ups in your local region with like-minded individuals.

We highly recommend that these associations organize in the chapter/lodge structure, as this is the common and legally-accepted practice for ethnic and fraternal organizations.

The lodge divisions also serve to protect the members' rights to private and intimate association pursuant to various US Supreme Court decisions.

A community is an association of individuals who share common values. This may be physical or over a large area. All European Heritage associations are themselves communities.

Individuals may seek community in a variety of ways. One way is to voluntarily agree to live in the same general area. Clusters of houses in a neighborhood or a town can bring people together who share political and social goals - one needs only look to the Libertarian Party's efforts in New Hampshire to see an example of this, or to the Jewish community's efforts in Kiryas Joel, New York.

Individuals may also collectively own land through various means. This is common for family farms, homesteading projects, intentional communities, and religious compounds. We encourage families to seek intentional community in whatever way is appropriate for them, so that their children may have a peaceful future.
