Collective Land Ownership

Some members of our private association engage in collective land ownership. A group of like-minded families may purchase land together. This could be a large rural acreage for the purposes of intentional community, or a smaller recreational property to use for events and meetups.
RTTL does not engage in real estate sales or rentals. The owner of private property is allowed to determine who has the right to access their property. More information is available to RTTL members.
RTTL Regional Chapters

Return to the Land is divided into numerous regional chapters and lodges. Upon joining, members are assigned to a group in their area. Groups have online meetings and local in-person meetups on a regular basis. Regional Chapters work on carrying out the mission and goals of RTTL through various strategies: Parallel institutions, collective land ownership, and the preservation of our heritage.
The Ozarks

The Ozarks Regional Chapter is well-established, covering portions of Arkansas, Missouri, and Eastern Oklahoma. The Ozarks is a unique region of the United States - heavily conservative and rural with favorable demographics.
Western US

Four regional chapters of RTTL cover the Western US. One of them is our most active chapter.
Eastern US

Five regional chapters of RTTL cover the Eastern US. There are numerous exciting projects underway in this region.
Great White North

One regional chapter spans the entirety of Canada and Alaska, though as more members join, the region will
contain multiple chapters.
Europe

RTTL has a regional chapter in Europe. We recommend that our members in that region network with
The Woodlander Initiative
in the UK, and
Brotherhood Europa which is interested in starting communities in the Balkans.
